Modular System carries out an investment for RARS

In today’s rapidly changing world, the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies is fundamental to security. Natural disasters, catastrophes or other unforeseen events require preparedness and having solutions that can be implemented in an instant. One of these is the fully functional container towns from Modular System, prepared under contract with the Government’s Strategic Reserve Agency (RARS).

A scale that is impressive and guarantees safety

The realisation for RARS is a testament to Modular System’s manufacturing capabilities and ability to complete the most demanding projects at short notice. As part of the contract, we delivered 1092 containers creating 6 fully functional container towns for a total of 1536 people. Each town is a self-sustaining housing unit with a complete infrastructure – from living and sanitary spaces to social facilities and basic medical care.

The containers were manufactured in our facility equipped with one of the most modern production lines in Europe, using Industry 4.0 technologies.

Comprehensive housing solutions

Our priority was to create a space that is not only functional, but above all safe and comfortable for its future inhabitants. When we think of emergencies, we think of people and their needs. That is why we have ensured the highest accessibility standards when designing the towns.

We have created spaces that are fully adapted for people with disabilities, and we have used special solutions, such as appropriate colour contrast between furnishings, which significantly facilitates the functioning of visually impaired people.

In addition, all containers delivered are fully equipped and ready for immediate occupation. Furniture, white goods and kitchen built-ins are just part of the comprehensive furnishings that make each unit a comfortable living space.

Readiness in 24 hours

A key element of crisis prevention is response time. Thanks to our experience and developed procedures, we are able to mobilise teams and equipment to start installing towns in any location within just 24 hours of receiving a request. We are responsible not only for the production, but also for the comprehensive service of storing, servicing and maintaining the modules in constant readiness.
